Dear Patients:
We are eagerly preparing our practice to welcome you back safely. As British Columbia begins to lift its stay at home order, we are starting to schedule for your urgent and routine dental care. We will resume normal business hours on Thursday July 2, 2020. We have been working hard to implement new protocols and equipment to ensure the safety and health of our patients and team. Here are the new safety protocols you can expect:
· Please call us upon arrival and stay in your car until we are ready for you
· We will only be allowing scheduled patients into the office (exception will be made for one parent with young child or any others needing assistance)
· Upon entering the clinic, we will repeat covid-19 questions + check your temperature with touchless thermometer
· We will provide shoe cover for you upon entry, however, you will need to bring+wear your own mask
· We have removed cushions, magazines, and pamphlets from reception room and operatories
· Plexiglass shields at our reception desk
· Touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout the clinic
· 20 seconds hand wash and 1.5% hydrogen peroxide pre-rinse station in each operatory
· Full PPE for our clinical team (scrubs, gowns, face shields, masks, clinic only shoes, and gloves)
· Medical grade “Surgically clean air” air purifiers in all clinical operatories and reception area
· Increased frequency of surface cleaning + disinfecting
Please do not come to the clinic if you are not feeling well – please call ahead to reschedule your appointment.
