About
Learn More about Dr Lai
Dr. Lai is a general dentist who specializes in cosmetic dental rejuvenation.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Human Biology from the University of Toronto, Dr. Lai completed his doctorate of dental surgery at Case Western Reserve University school of dentistry. He later completed one year of General practice residency at Denver Health Medical Center in 2002.
After residency, he practiced dentistry as an associate in Scottsdale, Arizona for three years and developed special interests in cosmetic and implant components of dentistry. He decided to return to Canada to pursue his dream of owning his practice in 2005. Determined to be the best in his field, Dr. Lai has attended and earned numerous post-graduate distinctions. He is a fellow of the prestigious Las Vegas Institute where he learned how to treat full/partial mouth aesthetic reconstruction cases. He is a fellow of esteemed Misch Institute for Implantology. He is also a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Lai is a proud and active member of the Canadian Dental Association, British Columbia Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and American Academy of Clear Aligners.
Dr. Lai is proficient in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. In his time away from the office, Dr. Lai enjoys traveling with his family and pursues various hobbies- snowboarding, golfing, hiking, yoga, cooking, and photography.
